WHERE ART SUPPORTS
WELL-BEING
Hi, I’m Carol, founder of Onda and one of the founding members of the North Port Art Crawl (NPAC), together with Michele Moore of Bone Boutique.
During the day, I work as a Licensed Massage Therapist and Neuromuscular Therapist at Onda. On nights and weekends, I return to my roots as an artist, painting with the North Port Paint Posse on Sundays and hosting "The Art of Feeling Good" during the North Port Art Crawl every third Saturday.
My creative journey began over 20 years ago as a jewelry designer and goldsmith. I crafted one-of-a-kind pieces by hand, founded and led my own goldsmithing school in Brazil, and traveled internationally to exhibit my work and my students’ work in galleries and art shows. Our exhibitions reached places such as the Louvre Museum (Paris), the Manege Hall (Moscow), Palazzo Giureconsulti (Milan), and Art Galleries in New York and Miami.
Design, texture, natural materials, community, and connection have always been at the center of what I do.
Over time, I realized that creating with our hands (seeing, feeling, shaping) awakens something essential within us. And teaching amplifies that transformation. It grounds us. It reconnects us. It builds awareness. Today, that understanding lives inside Onda, where I blend artistic sensitivity with body-centered therapy and education. These worlds speak the same language: presence, awareness, and connection.
The purpose has been always the same: to create experiences that bring people back to their own rhythm, and into a deeper relationship with their own bodies.
