If prices change, the recipient simply covers the difference. HOW IS ONDA DIFFERENT FROM OTHER MASSAGE PLACES?

Traditional massage focuses mainly on relaxing muscles. Onda goes deeper, working with the entire nervous system in and out of the water, an experience beyond traditional bodywork.

On land, sessions blend advanced techniques such as myofascial and neuromuscular therapy with intuitive movement and breath to ease pain, rebalance posture, and restore natural flow.

In water, the body is held in weightlessness, inviting deeper release and calm. Clients often describe it as both grounding and freeing, “like flying through your own thoughts.”

WHY ON-LAND & IN-WATER SESSIONS?

At Onda, we work with two different environments: land and water, The reason is that each one supports the body in its own unique way.

On-Land sessions take place on a massage table and use techniques like therapeutic massage, myofascial release, neuromuscular & trigger point therapy. These sessions focus on structure, alignment, and releasing tension through touch and movement while you’re fully supported by the earth beneath you.

In-Water sessions happen in warm water, where the body becomes weightless. This allows the joints, spine, and muscles to move freely, inviting deep relaxation and calm. The water supports the body in ways gravity cannot, helping the nervous system to settle and the body to restore balance naturally.

Both elements, land and water, complement each other. Working with them allows us to meet your body where it is, and guide it toward greater ease, mobility, and presence.

Onda offers a range of therapies and combined techniques to help you restore your natural flow:

To ease pain, discomfort, and physical limitations: 
Therapeutic Massage (Targeted treatment for pain and posture): An advanced On-Land session using neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, and breathwork to reduce pain, restore alignment, and improve movement.

To address stress, tension, and emotional imbalance: 
Relaxation Massage (On-Land massage for calm and ease): A full-body Swedish-inspired treatment with Thai-inspired stretching to melt tension, improve mobility, and quiet the mind. Ideal for stress relief and renewal.

Onda Therapy (Seasonal In-Water bodywork for deep restoration): A gentle floating massage in warm saltwater combining movement, light stretching, and compression. Promotes relaxation, nervous system balance, and emotional release.

For a complete body–mind reset:

WHICH ONE SOULD I DO FIRTS? ON-LAND OR IN-WATER SESSIONS?

We recommend starting with a Relaxation land session, which allows the therapist to assess your posture, muscle imbalances, and how your body responds to touch before moving into the Therapeutic and Aquatic environments.

In your first session, allow yourself extra time for our free consultation, we begin with a brief conversation to understand your needs and goals. From there, we can design a personalized treatment plan that may include different modalities such as Neuromuscular Therapy, Thai massage, or aquatic therapy.

WHAT'S MY FIRST STEP IF I WANT TO TRY?

Start by booking your first session, it’s the best way to understand what Onda can do for you. You don’t need to know all the details yet. We recommend you to start with a Relaxation massage, but you can also choose the service that calls you most, and we’ll take it from there. Every journey begins with one session.

You can view all services, prices, and availability directly through MassageBook, my secure booking platform, and you can view availability, read session descriptions, and schedule directly from Onda’s website.

It’s simple to use, choose your session, select a time, and confirm online. You’ll receive an email confirmation and directions once your booking is complete. For any questions, you can always contact me.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FOR MY FIRST SESSION?

-   If you are a new client:
In your first session, please allow yourself extra time, we include a brief consultation and physical assessment to understand your body, posture, and lifestyle patterns. We’ll discuss your work, habits, and any areas of pain or stress that may be affecting your balance.

During the hands-on portion, I’ll assess muscle tone and movement to identify key areas of focus and create a personalized treatment plan. Because of this detailed approach, your first visit may last 60 to 90 minutes, at no additional cost.

-   If you are a recurring client
Each session begins with a brief check-in to see how you’re feeling that day and adjust the work to your current needs. On land or in the water, you’ll always be guided through the process step by step. Expect a peaceful, nurturing experience, your only task is to relax and allow your body to respond.

HOW LONG IS A TIPICAL SESSION?

Most Onda sessions last 60–90 minutes.

That gives enough time to focus on the areas your body needs most, while allowing space for integration and deep relaxation, whether on land or in water.

If you’d like, you can add extra time to your session. We always tailor the experience to your needs and what your body can comfortably absorb in a single visit.

SHOULD I COME ON AN EMPTY STOMACH?

Accepted Answer

Having a light meal or snack beforehand is absolutely fine, especially if you’re diabetic, sensitive to low blood sugar, or if your blood sugar tends to drop. If you’re diabetic or have any of those conditions, please eat as you normally would to keep your levels stable.

Your comfort and safety always come first, so feel free to mention any health conditions when you arrive.

WHERE ARE THE SESSIONS HELD?

Onda’s land sessions take place in my private studio in North Port, Florida, a calm home-based space designed for deep rest and comfort. Water sessions are held seasonally in a private, temperature-controlled pool designed for aquatic bodywork. Our address and directions will be provided after booking for your privacy and comfort.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

Accepted Answer

We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel a session. This helps us to offer availability to others who may be waiting for a spot.

In case of a cancellation, we do refund 100% of the funds (minus the convenience fees) if the cancellation is made 24 hours before the booking. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged the full session rate.

Gift cards and other products are not refundable.
