These Studio Policies (“Policies”) govern the access and use of our websites (https://www.ondatherapyco.com & http://www.inwatermassage.com), and the booking or purchase of any services or products offered by Onda Therapy Co. (“Onda - Land & Water Therapy”, “Onda”, “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing our websites, booking a session or buying any of our products, you agree to be bound by these Policies, and to use the Site in accordance with these terms, as well as our Privacy Policy, and any additional terms and conditions that may apply to specific sections of the Site or to services available through the Site or from the Company.

Please read carefully before using our websites, scheduling an appointment, or buying any product. By accessing or using these Websites, scheduling a session, or buying a product, you agree to the Studio Policies.

It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically. We may revise them at any time without notice to you. Your continued use of these Websites after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, so please check the terms periodically for updates.

1. Nature of Services
 

Onda provides massage and bodywork services focused on pain management, relaxation, and stress relief. Our techniques include, but are not limited to, Swedish massage, Breathwork, Hydrotherapy, Aquatic bodywork (inspired by watsu), Neuromuscular therapy & Trigger point therapy, Myofascial release, Stretching & Thai massage. We also offer curated art & wellness products to support ongoing well-being.
 

All services and products are designed for relaxation, stress reduction, and muscular relief. They are not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment, or care. We do not diagnose conditions, prescribe medication, or claim to cure any medical condition. All services are provided solely for wellness and therapeutic purposes. If you have a medical concern, injury, or disease, please consult a qualified physician before beginning any new therapy.
 

We may promote other individuals, products, services, or partners that we recommend. We are highly selective in the recommendations that we make and will only provide honest reviews. It is your responsibility to determine whether to purchase anything recommended on this site or by our team during your session. We are not responsible for any individual, product, service, or partner that we recommend.
 

Any results, examples, and testimonials are provided for informational purposes only. We make no guarantees as to any outcome through the use of our services & products and results will vary from person to person.

2. Client Responsibilities
 
Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete health information, including injuries, allergies, medications, or sensitivities, before each session. The therapist is not liable for injuries resulting from undisclosed medical conditions.

  • Inform the therapist in a timely manner of any changes in your health information and medical condition.

  • Following all safety instructions during aquatic or land-based sessions.

  • Acknowledging that massage and bodywork may involve physical touch and movement in close proximity.
     

Failure to disclose relevant health information may increase risk of injury and release Onda from any resulting liability.

3. Aquatic Therapy & Cupping Notice
 
Aquatic bodywork sessions involve gentle movement, stretching, and floating in a saltwater pool. While safe and restorative, it requires comfort with water environments. Clients should inform the therapist of any conditions that may affect balance, breathing, or mobility. Participation is voluntary and at the client’s own risk.
 
Techniques such as cupping, deep tissue work, and trigger point therapy may result in temporary marks, redness, soreness, or bruising, which are natural responses and not considered injuries.

4. Health & Safety
 

Your well-being and comfort are our priority. Please arrive clean, sober, and free of contagious conditions. For everyone’s safety, clients may not attend sessions if experiencing fever, open wounds, skin infections, or contagious illness.
 

The treatment room and aquatic area are private, sanitized, and maintained according to health and professional standards. Clean linens and fresh water are provided for every session.
 

If you feel discomfort at any time, please communicate it immediately so the session can be adjusted.

5. Code of Conduct
 

Onda is a professional environment dedicated to respect, trust, and care. We maintain zero tolerance for inappropriate language, behavior, or advances of any kind. Both therapist and client agree to:

  • Uphold professional boundaries.

  • Communicate respectfully and clearly.

  • Refrain from disruptive, aggressive, or unsafe behavior.
     

Violation of these guidelines may result in immediate termination of the session without refund.

6.⁠ FAQ Section, Cards & Quiz
 

The FAQ, the quiz, and the cards reflect professional experience and are intended as general guidance. It should not replace one-on-one consultation or professional advice, or training.

7. Booking, Cancellation, Refunds & Gift Cetificates
 
Appointments can be booked online through our secure scheduling system.

We kindly request 24 hours notice for all cancellations or reschedules.

  • Bookings: All services are by appointment only. We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time. 

  • Cancellations: Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows will be charged the full session fee.

  • Late arrivals may result in reduced session time without price adjustment.

  • Packages are non-refundable once services begin.

  • Refund Policy: All sales are final. Refunds are not provided for services or products rendered. Unused prepaid services or packages may be eligible for account credit at management’s discretion.

  • Gift certificates: Our gift certificates don’t expire and can be used toward any service. They’re recommended for use within 12 months and apply to current service rates. If prices change, the recipient simply covers the difference. Certificates are non-refundable, not redeemable for cash, and must be used in accordance with booking availability, studio policies, and guidelines.
     

Onda reserves the right to reschedule or refuse service if a client arrives ill, under the influence, or presents a contraindicated condition.

8. Payment, Fees, Pricing & Promotions
 

Payment is due at the time of service unless prepaid through this website. We accept major credit cards, cash, and our own gift certificates. Prices and services are subject to change without notice.
 

Promotional offers cannot be combined with other discounts unless explicitly stated. Onda reserves the right to modify or terminate any offer at any time.

9. Confidentiality

All client information, intake forms, and session notes are strictly confidential and securely stored through MassageBook, a HIPAA-compliant platform. Information will not be disclosed without written consent unless required by law.

Your privacy and comfort are central to the Onda experience.

10. Property, Safety & Pet Policy

Our studio is located in a private, peaceful home environment designed to support relaxation and safety.

  • Cameras: For security purposes, cameras are installed in outdoor and common areas only. There are no cameras in the treatment room or pool area.

  • Mascot Cat: Onda’s mascot, a friendly cat, lives on the property. She does not enter the treatment room but may occasionally be seen in common areas. Clients with allergies or sensitivities should inform us prior to booking. 

  • Respect for Space: Please help maintain the peaceful atmosphere by keeping noise low, silencing devices, and following any property guidelines.

11. Session Termination or Refusal
 

Sessions may be paused or terminated immediately if:

  • The client displays inappropriate or unsafe behavior.

  • The therapist determines that continuing would be contraindicated for safety or health reasons.

  • The client arrives under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
     

In such cases, full session fees still apply.

12. Limitation of Liability

By booking or receiving services, you agree that:

  • You voluntarily assume all risks associated with massage, aquatic bodywork, and related services or products.

  • Onda, its owners, employees, and contractors shall not be held liable for any damages, injuries, allergic reactions, or losses resulting from participation in sessions, presence on the property, or use of this website.

  • Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific session or service in question.

  • It is the client’s responsibility to review these Policies before booking and to disclose any animal allergies prior to the appointment. Onda operates in a private home environment where a domestic cat resides. The cat does not enter the treatment room but may be present in common or outdoor areas. By booking or receiving services, you acknowledge this condition and agree that Onda, its owners, or representatives shall not be held liable for any allergic reaction, sensitivity, or related condition arising from exposure while on the property.

  • Onda makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of website content or third-party links.

13. Intellectual Property & Website Use
 
All content on this website, including text, photographs, graphics, design, videos, and logos, is the exclusive property of Onda and protected under U.S. and international copyright law. You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, display, or create derivative works from our content without written consent.

  • Use our trademarks, business name, or logo for any commercial purpose.
     

Unauthorized use may result in legal action.

14. Information and External Links
 

Information shared on our website, in the treatment room, or by anyone representing Onda is for general education and awareness only. It is not medical advice or a substitute for professional care. Scheduling, intake forms, and SOAP notes are securely managed through MassageBook, a HIPAA-compliant platform. We do not sell or share personal information with third parties outside of what is necessary to provide your service or comply with legal obligations.

16. Disclaimers
 

  • No Medical Advice: The information on this website and in our sessions is for educational and wellness purposes only.

  • Individual Results: Results vary depending on individual conditions and consistency of care.

  • Health Responsibility: It is your responsibility to seek medical clearance for massage or aquatic therapy if you have a health condition.

17. Dispute Resolution
 
If a dispute arises, both parties agree to:

  1. Attempt to resolve the matter informally and in good faith.

  2. If unresolved, submit the matter to confidential mediation or binding arbitration in Sarasota County, Florida, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

  3. Each party will bear its own costs for mediation or arbitration.
     

Any claim arising from use of this website or participation in services or products must be filed within one (1) year after the event giving rise to the claim; otherwise, it is permanently barred.

18. Severability
 

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full effect.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms represent the entire agreement between you and Onda regarding the use of our website, services, or products, superseding any prior agreements or understandings.
